Mcdonald's - Christchurch

The best thing about this McDonalds branch is its location not that being on a busy road wedged between a housing estate and industrial estate is particularly appealling, but it is only a short drive from one of the most beautiful sea views in the British Isles – Mudeford Quay. On this basis, my recommendation would be to get your food to go, and take a minute drive to Mudeford. The easiest way is to turn right out of McDonalds away from Christchurch and towards Somerford, then turn right at the roundabout, and right again at the next. Follow this road all the way into Mudeford where shortly after a right hand bend, there is a sign pointing to Mudeford Quay on the left. The meal may not be memorable, but whatever the weather, the view will be.

Like most families, McDonalds is a massive hit with the kids in our house and this is amongst the best one we've visited country-wide because it has an indoor play area attached to it. On the whole the restaurant is clean and well-kept and the staff are friendly, but the play area is getting a bit old and tatty now and parts of it look like they're held together with string and sticky tape, so because my kids are so young and I do worry a bit that they'll catch themselves on something. Having said that, nothing's happened yet, so perhaps I'm just being paranoid.

At least this ordered now because it should be a min car away, but is stone cold every time, and is always very late (also up to an hour and minutes once) when I saw the deliveryracker, I realized. it was mcdonalds that do not give a trace of the time it gets them, not the delivery rubers mistake. they also confuse their series of times they order from them. do they please themselves and do not harass the order of somerford rd McDonald’s.

I have visited McDonald's frequently and have experienced normal good service. However, my complaint is about the customers. When they order online for pick-up in their car, they often end up parking and going inside to eat instead. McDonald's should put up signs instructing customers to stay in their car if they have ordered for pick-up. In locations like Christchurch, having a designated pick-up point away from the entrance would be beneficial, as it can get crowded with cars waiting to order from the window. This would allow customers who have already picked up their order to exit smoothly.
