Was a really busy lunch day( ,Sunday) A golf tournament was on. The food was delicious The poor staff, only two at front were , overloaded. Many thanks to the poor guy who made my pasta, it was hot and busy

Lovely work lunch. The service was with a smile and the food came out in a timely fashion and was enjoyed by all. Great stuff, will enjoy going there again.

What a cool place. Part of the Returned and Services Association (RSA).Set in nice new building close to downtown Christchurch which has a striking frontage with wall of remembrance on the outdoor seating area. On arrival was greeted by the staff who was polite, considerate and helpful. While waiting for our meals there was a lot of memorabilia to look at set in a spacious Restaurant and TV's show programs. The restroom was clean and tidy. The meals were got quality and reasonably priced also good coffee served. If your into good meals great atmosphere, Trenches is a place to go while in Christchurch.

Great atmosphere on Saturday nights, good food can't complain for the price and the specials they do every night. Steak night is Saturday and Tuesday I think, $15.

The jazz band playing was fabulous and the roast pork I ate was very nice. The staff and other guests were welcoming and friendly.
