The Naked Baker - Christchurch

This is the second time i have purchased a medium cake here for a special occasion,the first was a year ago. Ordered it three days before i picked it up. Looked really good,was fresh and well made. Nice tasting cake.Will be back for sure.

Best Coffee in the World is almost all I have to say but all their food is too yummy to resist so I'm a regular.An awesome place to dine-in and forget the time.Food on the run second to none always hits the spot.Laid-back easy ambience enhanced by very friendly smiling staff who remember your name.I've recommended The Naked Baker to many others and some now travel up to an hour for the coffee.Try it for yourself and you'll be hooked too.

They have their strengths (their quiche is amazing) however sometimes there is a swing and a miss. Today I had the worst apple strudel of my life there, the pastry was stale and felt and tasted like damp cardboard. My fork couldn 't even make it through the bottom layer. That being said, this is probably the only place that actually makes a LARGE coffee when you order a large coffee. I 'm used to 'large ' meaning a decent size cup (about 300ml) but not here, it is comically large! It was practically a bowl with a handle.

Visited for brunch with my father. Friendly staff and delicious coffee and food. Good selection of sweet and savory. Very chill wee area for eating in. Parking lot opposite the shop specifically for the shop is an added bonus. Definitely will be back!
