Sari Sari Filipino Kitchen

Located in the lively central business district of Christchurch, Sari Sari offers a diverse selection of Filipino cuisine with hints of other international flavors, including local Kiwi dishes. This restaurant is a great introduction to Filipino food, featuring beloved dishes such as sisig, karekare, and sinigang. Conveniently situated near the bus station and supermarkets, Sari Sari offers excellent service from friendly staff. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed trying a bit of everything on the menu, but my favorite dish has to be the karekare.

If you're looking for Filipino cuisine, you won't be disappointed here. They use the best ingredients to truly capture the flavors of the Philippines.

My family and I went here last week, and eating was very authentic (after my aunt who is filipino). their dishes were aromatic and tasteful and well dimensioned. the lamb curry and cooktop pork dishes were particularly delicious. the gloomy we had was like a Panna-Citta (a specificity of phillipines). we all decided we were coming back.

Only for lunch so far, excellent venue, and eating was simple, but brilliant. the portion size is noticeable, with a good price. will definitely visit more often.

A great combination of carbs and meat thoughtfully put together. The portions were really good also. Would recommend trying the halo-halo as a dessert
