Challenge Arthur's Pass - Christchurch

A great restaurant option on the way to the west. Enjoy a coffee and sandwich here for a nice place to relax during a long drive.

I was bikepacking through from Christchurch and was disappointed to find that the Bealy Hotel was closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find a vegan pie and oat milk coffee at this restaurant. It was a much better option than my dehydrated camp food.

I went to the restaurant hoping to have a cooked vegetable breakfast, but unfortunately it was not available.

I was disappointed that they do not serve cooked sweet breakfast options.

Bikepacking by chch went to the Bealy Hotel to try their vegan pizza, but unfortunately it was closed on Wednesdays. However, they were pleased to find a vegan cake and oat milk coffee available. They found it to be a much better option than their usual dehydrated storage food.
