Zaman's Spice - Chorley

Zamans used to be the best takeaway Indian restaurant in Chorley in my opinion. It closed for a year or so (Covid?? and has now come back under the same name but with a completely different offering. The menu is very basic and the website no longer lets you order for delivery even though you are within their range. I ordered loads of meals 1 a week before the re birth now I can't order unless I have cash and do it over the phone. This would be OK if it was worth it but all my favorites have gone and the menu variety has been drastically stripped back. There's nothing on the menu that appeals anymore. I'm not sure what their strategy is but its sad to see such a great company screw themselves up so badly. Just can't understand the logic behind the decisions. Great shame. Please return to your former glory.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and I was extremely impressed. The food was delicious and arrived hot. I would highly recommend trying the Chef's recommended Afgani and Bahari dishes, which we ordered with Lamb and Chicken Tikka. The meat was tender and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The mixed starter was also excellent. I can't wait to order from here again!

So few Indian takeaways offer a fish curry, and this one is amazing... Perfect blend of salt and spice with quality fish, powerful yet subtly flavoursome

Lovely food and really fast service. I popped in rather than get them to deliver. It was quite busy rushing out delivery orders so next time I might be tempted to ring up and order although it was pretty quick from ordering to walking out with it. Bonus of free onion bhajis!! All is well in the world now.

Just had my first order from this place and it was amazing! I was going to say it was the best takeout I've ever had, but after thinking about it, it actually surpasses any restaurant meal I've had. We ordered the tandoori lamb chops and bahari chicken, both of which were accompanied by fresh vegetables and high-quality cuts of meat. The dishes weren't oily and tasted fantastic - we didn't leave a grain of rice behind. I can't wait to try more of their meals. This place is restaurant quality - great job, guys!
