Bidrage med feedbackWe stopped for a drink and snack at this beautiful cafe. A place for the kids to explore and colour while the adults can have a breather. We especially like the walnut honey on our fresh bread.
This outdoor cafe is one of a kind. If you're in the Parc du Vergers and you plan to visit les Grottes (highly recommended!) or whether you're hiking nearby, you must stop in and visit Gilles at the Cabane Cafe. Here you can find local and organic picnic fare and eat outside in a number of picnic sites. Sample local blue cheese, smoked trout and local beer and honey wine. It's not a hot gourmet meal with waiters- it's a picnic along the way and worth the stop.
Our words cannot describe our euphoria at staying with Gilles with his passion for his astonishing village, accomodation and position, and with his magic cafe across the road. Our enthusiasm for cycling the region was rewarded with his advice for secret places to visit and explore.....12 out of 10.
I liked the hot waitress, she was a real looker. I disliked the mashed potato that came with my lobster.
