La Pataterie - Choisey

After I was ignored in Buffelo Grill, I went to anD after a table. I sat very fast and asked if I wanted to drink. This place already gives 100% better service than the Buffelo Gril! Most dishes here are around the humble potato. However, the food is freshly cooked and the resturant is visited by locals. The menu is limited, but it is very pleasant. If you stay overnight in the neighboring Ibis Budget Hotel and take your booking receipt you will get 15% discount on the total bill

Back from the Alps we wanted an overnight break and ended at Ibis in Choisey near Dole on Sunday night when their restaurant was closed. Choisey is a short distance from A39 (transition 6? and a very convenient stop. It is not far from the highway, but it takes you to the village for cheaper prices for food and fuel. We needed to eat somewhere and there is a very limited selection of restaurants open on a Sunday evening, so we ended up in La Patatrie. It is a big restaurant and it seemed to be popular with family groups. The waitress was thrilled and the meal was quick to reach. The menu, as the name implies, was mainly dishes on a potato theme. There were various meals offered. We just ordered a main course: My meal consisted of three shell potato halves, each with another cheese and a side salad it was a great meal and OK. My husband had a coat potato with a creamy forester that hit it, and he was very unimpressed. He thought the potato was reheated and didn't enjoy his meal. The prices were very reasonable and the service was fast. I'd just say that the food was average, but I guess it was the price we paid. There are dishes for every age and there is a large parking lot, so it is easy to park directly on site. It is also open on a Sunday evening when many other restaurants are closed.

The menu is based on potato products, so it is not the choice of meals. No good food, but certainly something for the whole family. Prices reasonable and the service excellent.

Pour une zone touristique, fermer le restaurant à 21h30...cela laisse à désirer ; alors que les vacanciers prennent du temps pour visiter les nombreux sites aux alentours, il faut compter le temps du retour et donc fermeture trop tôt !Dommage nous ne pouvons donner aucun avis sur la qualité du service et de la nourriture

Nous sommes arrivés à 21h20... en période estivale ... Les cuisines sont fermées , on est partis ailleurs du coup
