Bidrage med feedbackFantastic food! we have this restaurant for several years and always have wonderful food. the menu has so many great options that it is hard to choose. we love the wine list. the warm brot is amazing. we have dined with our daughter and our son-in-law who live from new york. they were blown away and said duncan creek could easily stack to the restaurants in nyc. we are happy to find this in chippewa if!
Once again, Duncan Creek has exceeded our expectations! We brought our adult children and their spouses there for a birthday dinner, and despite them living in the Twin Cities, they were absolutely delighted by the menu, service, and overall presentation of our charming little town. The only suggestion I have is to improve the ambient lighting at the tables—a candle would really enhance the atmosphere.
The menu features elevated options without the stuffy, formal atmosphere. I’ve ordered the ahi tuna at a farm-to-table restaurant in the Midwest before, and it felt a bit overdone. I’d love to return and explore more seasonal, locally-inspired dishes.
Really a fantastic restaurant could be in big city, but in Chippewa! Menu changes regularly
The appetizer was enjoyable, although the chips were burnt. My husband ordered the duck, which was mostly noodles with only a few small pieces of duck—about 95% pasta. I opted for the chicken manicotti, and while it tasted great at first, biting into the chicken was off-putting; it was tough and filled with fat and gristle. The cocktails were tasty but overpriced. We mentioned to our waitress that it was my birthday, so we hoped for a small dessert or at least a scoop of ice cream, but we didn’t receive anything. It’s a shame because the food was quite disappointing. On a positive note, the restaurant has a bohemian vibe that is comfortable, and the wait staff was nice.
