The venue is absolutely beautiful. Three of us enjoyed afternoon tea, which was very good, although the ratio of savory to sweet items could use a bit more balance. We had two very small sandwiches, a cheese scone, and a coronation chicken wrap, all of which were delightful, but I would have preferred a few more savory sandwiches and fewer cakes: two large scones and five other desserts felt a bit excessive. The selection of teas was excellent, and the £68 bottle of champagne truly elevated the experience. The service was great, with staff who were exceptionally friendly.
