Nick's Pizza - Chino

Nick's Pizza has the potential to be one of the best pizza spots in Chino and the surrounding area. However, my recent experience was disappointing. When I arrived today, they estimated a wait time of 25-35 minutes. I returned after 25 minutes, only to be told it would take another 20-30 minutes. When I came back again, I saw the staff starting to make my pizza right then and there. The restaurant wasn't crowded; there was only one other party present. I genuinely enjoyed the pizza, but the wait was far too long. Even if they told me it would be done in an hour, I'm not sure I would wait again. It's unfortunate because the pizza is quite good, but the service leaves much to be desired. I really hope they can improve it! Additionally, the pizza was undercooked in the middle (see photo).

I really wish they would offer traditional pizza instead of just sticking to Detroit-style. I think that’s driven away a lot of locals who used to visit weekly. While we appreciate the changes in the restaurant's ambiance and want to love going there, not everyone in the family enjoys this style of pizza, so we don’t visit as often as we used to. The owners and staff are fantastic, though, and we do enjoy the wings!

My husband and I decided to give Nick's an attempt since we went there with the old owners. We saw so many good reviews about food and service and we were hungry so... We agree that we had the best pizza. We have the family special (pizza, cheese bread, salad and drinks and we have remains. The pizza had so much taste and the toppings were really good size. The sauce was also amazing! Debbie (the cook/creator, Ronnie (owner and Katie were all very friendly and personal. Fantastic service and food!!! Will definitely be back and recommend it to others. Thank you!

Absolutely delicious pizza, good prices as well as, good service. It's just perfect. They make their dough fresh at the beginning of the day. Pizza from scratch. Nice place

The new owners of Nick's agreed to host my retirement party on a Saturday night. They set up for approximately 30 people as requested. As it was, we filled up the whole restaurant with way more people. We pre-ordered the pizza and appetizers and they were ready for us. They brought the delicious food out, a few at a time and just kept everything coming at a great pace. Everyone that was working were Xtra accommodating and kept there cool. Besides our party order, people not our party) were ordering all kinds of food that they wanted to try plus, the folks that like to get there food from them so they had there hands full. I have to say try it. It takes longer to recieve a pizza because they are special, in that case, order a beer or some wine and enjoy your evening while waiting. Thank you Nick's for allowing us to take over your cute restaurant.
