Cheong Kong Chinese Restaurant

Cheong Kong is the best Chinese restaurant in Chinchilla. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and even asked for seconds. The dumplings and Honey Chicken were particularly delicious. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend that everyone dine at Cheong Kong.

Generous serves. Friendly service. Fair price. Not licensed. BYO welcome. Forget the decor, just enjoy an old fashioned style Chinese feed in a country town with a small population. My friends and I were hungry. We went back to our accommodation with full bellies, a smile, and a small price tag. Thank you Cheong Kong.

This restaurant serves the best honey chicken fried rice in Hervey Bay, surpassing all other Chinese/Asian restaurants in the area.

The food at this restaurant was excellent, but be sure to double check your order as they got ours wrong. Even though it was still tasty, it wasn't what we originally ordered. Additionally, they do not provide bags for takeout, which wasn't a major issue, but it would have been helpful to know beforehand so we could have brought our own. We ended up having to juggle a bunch of hot containers. Despite these minor inconveniences, the most important thing is that the food was fantastic and we would definitely dine here again.

After traveling 60,000 km from Australia and trying many Chinese restaurants, this was the worst ever. we had a fish dish and a chicken, in both cases they were overcooked. the garnels were like pappe, the calimari as boot leather and the fish was mush. To make it even worse, the steamed rice was rocky. this meal could not have been worse. avoid this restaurant
