Madeira - Chiltern

Popped in as staying village; traditional cafe and breakfast; milkshakes great coffee good too; relatively good value would call in again.

I visited this restaurant two weeks ago and unfortunately, the kitchen forgot to cook one of our meals. Today when I visited again, the wrong order was served to us. The breakfast portions have also been reduced in size. The staff seems inexperienced and lacks basic training. It is a shame because this restaurant used to be a great place.

The restaurant had a fantastic ambiance, with welcoming staff and reasonable prices. They had a large screen and implemented good social distancing measures. Booking was simple, and there was a lively atmosphere during the Portugal football match.

I’ve been to this restaurant for breakfast and lunch, several times in the past with friends and family. Always good, hot, freshly prepared meals, served by the Portuguese owners. A friendly restaurant to relax in.

If you work round Chalfont at Peter this is a perfect place to come with your friends on your lunch break me and my family like to come her a lot for lunch and it’s very good. the cheesy chips are soo good I definitely recommend! This place is quite cozy but I think maybe they could add some more varieties but I do recommend here because it’s very nice also the meals are yum. But I hope they could add a bit more to the menus.
