Bidrage med feedbackI bought six skewers and found that there was mostly fat on the beef. I paid $71 for them, which feels like a total rip-off. I definitely prefer to enjoy beef rather than just fat, especially at that price.
I recently had my first visit to The Town Butcher and was warmly welcomed by a staff member at the deli counter who asked how she could assist me. I mentioned that I needed steaks for four people for dinner that evening. She asked about my cooking method and provided several options along with the typical prices for each steak type. While she prepared my choices, the owner came over to greet me. After receiving my steaks, I asked the employee for a recommendation on a rub to enhance the flavor. She suggested a few options, and I went with her favorite. The AAA ribeyes, seasoned with that rub, turned out to be incredibly juicy, tender, and absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning to The Town Butcher for their outstanding service and high-quality products.
On Saturday, June 19, at about 5:30 PM, I had my first visit to this butcher shop and I was incredibly impressed by the two women working there. They cut a fresh brisket for me right on the spot, just as I asked. I had it trimmed and seasoned, and it was on the smoker within hours for Father's Day. The brisket turned out to be a huge hit with my entire family, and we even had some leftovers. Thank you!
I visited the Town Butcher for the first time yesterday after recently relocating to the Garrison area. I had heard wonderful things about it being the top destination for local beef and deli items, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I ordered the bacon and cheddar pasta salad, stuffed mushrooms, and a twice-baked potato, and everything was absolutely delicious! Naomi, who was at the register, was incredibly friendly and a pleasure to chat with. My friend also recommended trying their grass-fed butter. As luck would have it, it was their 15th anniversary, and I got to enjoy a cheeseburger that was one of the best I've had in a long time. I will definitely be back and look forward to supporting the Town Butcher in the future. I highly recommend it—10 out of 10!
After a lengthy wait for service and the incorrect pricing, I had high hopes for the steaks. Unfortunately, they turned out to be some of the worst ribeyes I’ve ever had. After cooking them, they were tough, stringy, and just plain awful. To be clear, these were their local ribeyes. I really wanted to like this place, but it didn't meet my expectations, and I won't be going back. Do yourself a favor and choose Fraser Valley Meats instead.
