Friendly Banners Restaurant

Excellent local restaurant. Many local senior citizens were present here so that should tell you a lot about the food being good and the prices reasonable. They really were friendly here and I found the service was to be top notch. I ordered the Tex Mex Skillet and it was a literal cornucopia or wonderful tastes. They gave me a portion of sour cream and one of salsa on the side; all combined it was literally awesome. So much more tasty than fast food!

Coming back again for breakfast , after a while of haven't been at Banners and still found it good and friendly ! New faces , some new staff too and couple of familiar customers there . We enjoyed our Benedict and coffee, close to everything and prices are fair for the food and portion served .

Banners Restaurant has been a Chilliwack staple for over 20 years. However, sometime in the recent past it was purchased and something happened to it. The food is still excellent as is the service, but if it is busy, don't expect to dash in for a quick anything. My daughter and I placed our order at precisely 10:53 and it finally arrived at 11:49. Almost an hour later! We were told it was because the grill is too small. Banners didn't used to be this way and I don't think they shortened the grill. Maybe the new owners think they can run the kitchen with fewer staff. Whatever the problem, I hope they fix it - Banners, which is now Friendly Banners, is going to lose a lot of friends if their meals keep taking an hour to arrive.

As part of a brief visit to family in Chilliwack, my wife and I took her sister and husband here for lunch. For them, this is a regular spot and I could see why. The restaurant was pleasant. The menu was sufficiently varied to suit us all, I cannot comment on alcohol since we did not look. Two people ordered wraps, one a club sandwich and I ordered chicken strips and fries. All dishes were substantial and we joked that the meal would also provide supper. (But it didn't. Everyone was hungry.) Service was friendly and efficient and the cost was reasonable. I expect we will go back if we come through town in the near future.

처음으로 방문한 칠리왁에 페밀리 레스토랑 있었는데 굉장히 깨끗하고 모던한 분위기가 너무 좋았어요. 저희 가족 4 명이 갔었는데 아침 점심 저녁식사 메뉴에서 각자 좋아하는 것을 고를 수 있어서 다들 만족해 했습니다. 딸 아이는 아침식사 메뉴를 좋아하고 저랑 저희 아들은 햄버거를 아이 아빠는 파스타를 시켜서 먹었는데 다들 너무 맛있다고 감탄을 연발하였어요. 저희가 있을때는 오후 1 시경 있었는데 사람들이 정말 많이 있었어요. 바쁜 와중에도 친절하게 저희에게 신경써 주는 웨이트리스 덕분에 즐거운 식사를 할 수 있었습니다. 음식의 양과 가격 또한 매우 좋았습니다.
