Bidrage med feedbackWho has gone to Chihuahua and has not eaten here? If you want to try real Mexican food come to this place. I have tried almost all the dishes on their menu and they are all very good and fresh at a very reasonable price. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Chihuahua.
We decided to walk to this place from near the Plaza de Armas, which took a bit longer 25 mins) than it should have, since you have to find a way across the river. Even though we were a bit early for dinner, the place was packed and there was a very brief wait before we could get a table. The food was traditional Mexican food, and was delicious. We decided to go with the Enchiladas verdes de pollo), and could not have been happier. The service was a bit on the slow side, but if you're in a rush, then you're probably better off being North of the border anyway.
We were struggling to find somewhere for lunch on 1st Jan and ended up using our smartphone to find this place. We were expecting little but were pleasantly surprised with good service food for not a lot of money. Our group of 6 tried tacos, enchiladas, burittos and soups all were good. Guacamole was smooth, I like chunky, but definitely recently made from an avocado.
Decent place, close to hotels. Have been here half a dozen times. Never horrible, usually good. Sometimes the AMEX card reader works, sometimes it doesn't. Bacon wrapped jalapenos are good.
A place I'd definitely recommend if you're hungry for some real Mexican food. Often has some live music.
