Cindy's Place - Chicora

There isn't much happening in this part of Pennsylvania, but the locals are passionate about serving good food. I ordered the extreme supreme omelette, and while it was tasty, it was also quite large—I couldn't finish the whole thing. They offer breakfast all day along with chicken wings, burgers, and various daily specials. I saw that they have corned beef Reubens on the menu, but I'll hold off on trying one until I visit Cleveland, which is known for having the best corned beef around.

I was thrilled to discover this quaint local restaurant. While visiting the Chicora Alliance Church, we were concerned about finding a breakfast spot. However, we were welcomed with warmth. The service was excellent, and the food was exactly what we needed. We left with satisfied appetites and happy smiles. Surprisingly, the interior is much more spacious than it appears from outside.

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant on Veterans Day. I was with my daughter and her family, who rarely get a chance to enjoy a meal out together because of their special needs child. During our visit, my grandson was moving between the arcade games and our table, and the waitress abruptly told us, “He can’t do that!” We were seated in a separate room and weren't causing any disturbance, but her lack of understanding clearly upset my daughter and grandson. It was evident that she didn’t recognize the challenges faced by families with special needs children. This encounter completely ruined our dining experience, and I won’t be returning to this establishment. There was a noticeable lack of compassion.

I was traveling and needed to find a place to eat lunch. I found Cindy’s Place in a small town and it seemed like one of the only restaurants around. The restaurant has a hometown feel to it. My waitress was very friendly and she continually refilled my drink. I had ordered a Taco Salad. It was prepared quickly and tasted really good. I recommend eating here if your ever near by.

Very good food. The staff is nice and attentive and the portions are big. I, usually, get the mess. It consists of Hot Sausage, peppers, onions, potatoes, eggs and cheese all scrambled together...it covers a big plate. Very nice place!
