Kwando Buffet - Chico

Wow, what a selection of good food! Many shrimp dishes, mussels, mussels, sushi, a wide selection of raw meat, fish and vegetables to have boiled right there for you, green salad, many fruit choices, dumplings, orange chicken, chow mine, toads, the list goes on and on. Delicious decisions. The price was worth $17.99 for dinner and the price. I'm going back. The only cave is Sunday at 2:00, it was very busy. The line was out of the door and it took us well 20 minutes before we could sit. When we were gone at 3:00, there was a very short line. It is a large restaurant and if in full capacity, the lines for the food were quite slow moving as well. But very good food.

Been here twice and always it's full! That's a good sign! Food is fresh, and tastes great. Hibachi grill is amazing, they did really good job and a they have more variety of meat than any buffet's I been too. Loved sushi too.

We really enjoyed the restaurant. There were lots of choices on the buffet of all sorts. From cooked meats , including steak and calamari as well as other styles of Asian meats, on the hibachi by The hibachi chef as well as sushi, standard Asian foods and (American) Chinese food, including spring rolls etc. Overall we would recommend the restaurant very much. Just one caveat. They do not have a liquor license so if you wanted to have some sake or beer with your dinner, you just have to bear it and drink something non-alcoholic. Not so much of a problem, unless you are alcohol dependent

Always love this place. Especially when I'm really hungry or can't decide what to eat... Or both. Staff is friendly. Nothing over the top, just friendly enough to make your meal enjoyable. Food selection is wonderful. Seafood, salads, sushi, soups, and wonderful sweets if you have the room.

I loved it, the only thing I think they need to change is the fact you are already paying for 1 plate so the first plate you should be able to take home for free, instead I was pretty much charged again for the food to take it home. So 16.88 11 for one of the first plates and around 7 extra for the other on top of the main amount to be paid. The food was good, bathrooms were clean, they were on top of making sure our drinks were filled and taking away dirty dishes.
