Cafe Petra - Chico

Ate lunch there on Sunday, went back for dinner on Tuesday, and had fantastic food and service both times! I'm vegan and my hubby is vegetarian and they had lots of options for both of us! The Samosas and Dolmas are FANTASTIC! The Lebanese pita is amazing--served soft and warm, right out of the oven--the fluffiest and softest pita I've ever had! Falafel and tabbouli were both authentic and done right. Service both times has been friendly, professional, and attentive. The ambiance is great--classy without feeling overdone. Lunch prices are SUPER reasonable, considering the portion size! The highlight of our dinner was having the head chef, Mohammed, come to our table to meet us and and ask what flavors we like best. He was fun! I highly recommend it as a great new restaurant in Chico, especially if you are vegan or vegetarian! They currently do not have a liquor license, and I'll enjoy my meal even more when it's with a glass of wine--hopefully soon!

Some of the best falafel I’ve ever had! And I’ve been to Turkey at least 10 times. This stuff is the real deal.

This was a fantastic meal. The food was fresh and the flavor combinations were exciting and engaging. On top of that, the service was top-notch. We definitely plan on dining here the next time we are in town.

Amazing food, great service. Our first time going there and we tried so many different things. The Mediterranean fries are huge and so good!
