Lovely friendly staff nice meal and a pint of Guinness wel worh the visit

The pub oozes character, oak beams, stone floors, log fire and a chapel which is used as a function room. Pub grub and a good range of beers. There is a separate dining area or you can eat in the bar area if you wish.

We popped in for a pint out of the blue. We were greeted by friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. I was particularly pleased to see good covid cleaning protocols between customers.

Really nice meal and drinks in the wheatsheaf. we booked the wheatsheaf when we wanted a pub with more character than their average greene king and the wheatsheaf. great food, good beer and fantastic service. would recommend and we will definitely be back. thanks. the team could not have been more helpful or more attentive.
