Duke Of Cumberland - Chichester

We had both lunch and dinner at this restaurant, and the food and service were exceptional. The food was delicious, and even though one member of our party had a severe food allergy, the owner/chef assured us that everything made in-house was safe. However, the bun was made externally so he couldn't guarantee its safety. This was my 6th visit to The Duke, and I have even organized groups for Sunday lunch there. It is a must-visit spot every time I am in the UK. I highly recommend it.

Even though the approach roads may be challenging, it is definitely worth the effort to discover this fantastic pub/restaurant nestled in the hills. The food is truly outstanding and the staff are incredibly friendly, providing just the right amount of attention. The location is wonderful and the atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors, is delightful. There is absolutely nothing to fault about this place.

The Sunday lunch was amazing. The garden was beautiful and there was a great selection at the bar. The service was attentive and welcoming. I highly recommend a visit!
