The Wieners Circle - Chicago

I was taken to Wiener Circle promising me a typical culinary experience of Chicago. Obviously, it's not fine dining, but it's good to try the food of the city you're visiting! Wiener Circle is a hot dog stand, but they don't just serve a sausage and some sauce: the sausage comes with pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, ... and a good portion of fries in case you're still hungry! A greasy place, with bars and tables, that smells of the popular and traditional culture of the city!

Great food! Getting berated by the staff was hilarious, and listening to the staff berate the other customers almost made me choke on my food from laughing so hard. This place is so worth it! If you’re easily offended and have thin skin. The staff would say. “ **** PLEASE!! Get the **** outta here!” ****!

Love their char dogs and the cheese fries are too die for. Love the employees and their attitudes are hysterical. Show them some love and it's all good. This is the one place I miss the most now that I don't live in Chicago and the one place I go to EVERY time I visit. <3

Even sober the food is really good. I have been coming to this place for over 15 years. Today I had the pleasure of taking my children during the day of course. :

The best hot dogs in the best dog-friendly city in the world. No question.
