Truluck's Ocean's Finest Seafood Crab Downtown Chicago

Although the prices were high, the food at this restaurant was delicious with generous portions on the menu. Unfortunately, the service from the waiter was very poor. My mother-in-law took me here to celebrate Mother's Day in 2022 and I made the choice to visit this establishment. I regret my decision, as my mother-in-law is still discussing the terrible service we received. I am still unsure why the waiter had such a negative attitude towards us. Despite enjoying the food, we will not be returning to this restaurant. I am giving it 2 stars solely based on the tasty dishes, otherwise, it would have been a 1-star review.

I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner, especially when Nyla McDaniel is performing! We called ahead to check the schedule and as soon as we found out Nyla was singing, we hurried over to grab a table. The service, food, and drinks were all excellent, but what really made the night special was sitting in the bar area with live music. My favorites were the crab fried rice and spicy blackberry margarita. I would definitely suggest trying out this restaurant.

My first experience at Truluck?s (Brickell) Miami, was far more than I expected. All of the small details really do matter?the light-up menus, wine selections, curated cocktails, and fine prime seafood were absolutely fantastic! My friends and I droppedin for drinks and the food was amazingly delicious and well prepared! Each entree was hot (not warm) and ready to eat. Thewaiter Andrew (Jamaican king) was well versed and knowledgeable of every facet the restaurant had to offer. Hoping one is openedin Tennessee soon!

The food quality overall was very good. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with our family and had a great table. While the Hawaiian tuna crudo was not my favorite, as it was overwhelmed with dill, grape, and tomato, making it hard to find the tuna, the calamari had good flavor but was a little too salty. The yellowtail and seabass were fresh, although the yellowtail was also a bit salty. The carrot cake was very good. Despite a few salty dishes, we had a very enjoyable meal overall.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Truluck?s! I LOVE the bar and lounge area. The bar display was so colorful and attractive. I actually liked sitting in the lounge better than the dining room. There was a live pianist and her voice wasabsolutely beautiful. Definitely a vibe. All the food and drinks were amazing. Seriously, no complaints. The cocktail ?Pretty inPink? was so good that I had 2! Also I loved the presentation of the Voila cocktail and the waiter had the bartender put ?BloodOrange Ice Berg? in a martini glass for me ???? The chocolate cake was delectable! I can?t wait to return!
