The Stretch Grill - Chicago

Elf’d is beautiful and goes deep into Christmas decoration, you feel like entering a Christmas movie. It’s magical and the decor is impeccable! I ordered a chicken sandwich that was amazing, and a Christmas drink called Sleigh something that was not good, but last year I had great drinks there so it might be a one time kind of thing. The reason I’m giving 4 stars is not because of the drink I didn’t like but because of our server. We were in a group of five Brazilians, the server had no patience with our pronunciation and at first sight started to treat us bad. At some point she just passed by murmuring “I’m getting another server for the table” but at the end she continued with us. I’m not writing it to make her be fired, but to warn about the staff’s behavior. I don’t know the reasons she treated us bad, I don’t know her day and what’s up with her life, but neither does she about us. We all have problems. We felt unwelcome and walking on egg shells every time we needed help at the table. The other staff were awesome! I’m coming back because I believe one staff doesn’t speak to the whole restaurant, and I need to have the chicken sandwich again.

The drinks and food were decent but not worth the price in my opinion. What was frustrating was the fact that I tipped on top of the auto gratuity that was added and there was no mention of it what so ever.

Great decorations according to my wife. and I paid $45 for 2 drinks. Yes 2 drinks!! Holy balls ... I mean holy bells....Jeez

This was a Great Fun place for the Christmas ? Season. Buddy was hilarious, the decor to the Christmas drinks and green burgers. Buddy always made sure you didn’t get bored to the snowball fights. Fun, Fun, Elfin FUN.

Worst bar in Chicago. Was sat at a dirty table, the blonde bartended came to help us. She was incredibly unfriendly. She then brought us our drinks that looked and tasted horrible, not worth $16. You can tell they use very cheap liquor. Pretzel was sub par and the beef cheese tasted like velveta. The cherry on the top is an automatic 20% gratuity that was applied for the worst service, food and drink I have ever had in Chicago.I wouldn’t recommend.(Also this auto gratuity is not listed or posted anywhere in the business)
