The Metropolitan - Chicago

We went for Thanksgiving dinner and had a 3pm rez. We did not know it was the last reservation. There was very little in the chafing dishes when we went to the buffet. The buffet had picked over, and old food. No one was at the carving station so we carved our own turkey and beef. There were many empty tables and our table of 4 were seated at the worst location. The experience was laughable, just like so many other Thanksgiving dinner stories gone wrong.

This was a great experience. The food was delicious. There were 5 in our party and the restaurant had a special “beetlejuice” menu. Two people at our table ordered that fixed price meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rest of us ordered from the regular menu. All of our appetizers and entrees were very good. The atmosphere was relaxed and the view was great, would be wonderful if the weather had cooperated. Would love to go again.

One of the best experience that I had in the Chicago land area. Our waitress Lisa was fantastic. Just fantastic. She made the whole experience amazing for us. I would definitely recommend this and I would definitely recommend you guys check out. Lisa

OpenTable allowed me to make a reservation at noon on a Saturday, but the restaurant didn’t open until 5PM!

The service was amazing and the view was beautiful my husband and I were visiting Chicago for our anniversary and this was a wonderful experience.
