The Gundis Kurdish Kitchen - Chicago

The restaurant is too loud for conversation. The food is not that great, especially when trying to compete with the noise. It is also pricey. If I can't talk to my friends or family while dining and the menu is expensive, then forget it. The whole experience is ruined.

My Peace Corps group visited this restaurant once before, shortly after it opened. We got a discount back then, but this time it was quite noisy which made it difficult to have a conversation. The food was average, although I remember the lamb being better during our first visit. We all agreed that it was overpriced.

The Kurdish cuisine at this restaurant is exceptional and affordable. It is the perfect choice for a wonderful evening, especially if you plan on watching a movie nearby. The service is excellent as well.

Too loud. Eat....not so big esp at the competition with the lärm expensive. if I can't talk to my friends/family while I eat it and forget an expensive menu. the entire experience is stained.
