The Biscuit Man - Chicago

I visited this restaurant the day after its last day of business. I was so sad. I only discovered this hidden gem a few months ago, but I am grateful that I got to experience their amazing cookies. Hands down, the best cookies I have ever tasted. I hope they consider opening another location in the future. They will be missed.

I had breakfast at this hidden gem on my last day in Chicago and it was amazing! My favorite dish was the goat cheese with jam. My family ordered the chicken biscuits and were pleased with both the spicy and mild options. The bar also serves delicious coffee drinks.

They must try the biscuits with goat cheese and tomato jam. The biscuit was warm and the filling was deliciously simple. You won't be disappointed.

This place is delicious. I had the hot honey fried chicken biscuit with a side of speck. it was amazing. the location is in a bar called the long room, which is also ingenious with inexpensive cocktails and beer, and excellent staff.

Nearly a perfect biscuit. ..buttery, pillowy, great flavor. I say near perfect because the salt level is just too high. Salinity can be subjective, but if they'd reduce the salt 10% this would be a 5 star review for the biscuits alone. I buy regularly anyway and just slather with compote or jam to mask the saltiness. Still a great biscuit overall.
