The Ambassador Room - Chicago

Good food and relaxing atmosphere. Not sure what happened but Waiter made a lot of noise setting up the table toward end of our meal throwing dishes on the table surprising to see at such an iconic establishment

This newest iteration of an iconic restaurant inside the venerable Ambassador Hotel is off to a good start. We needed an early dinner before the opera so when we arrived the bar was far busier than the restaurant, but the service was friendly and attentive, the food arrived promptly and was delicious and perfectly cooked. As a bonus, although the bar was full, the noise level was very tolerable. We'll definitely be adding it to our list of local favorites.

Great ambiance, drinks service. An institution. Just terrible hours. Closes too soon.

Ordered two burgers well done, one was medium and the other was medium rare.

The Ambassador has always been a beautiful hotel but it is even more elegant than ever! We lived in the neighborhood many years ago and got engaged at the Pump Room 34 years ago so it was wonderful to visit again!
