Taste Of Thai Town - Chicago

We went because this restaurant was on Chicago's Best, but it wasn't. Service started out good but was seated in a freezing back room. All of us got our entrees except one of us, and we had to ask for that. Good was just so, so, something that you would get at a chain restaurant. Disappointed.

Unpleasant and slow service. Not worth the trouble. Food was ok so if you are in the area and want decent basic Thai.

I requested a Thai dish called Larb that was not on the menu and they prepared a delicious, perfectly seasoned dish for us.

Made a reservation, had it confirmed, then found out it was closed when we got there. Winter hours, not on website.

Honestly don't go there for thai food. Not up to what they promised to be authentic (I've been to Thailand a few times so I tried a lot of real thai food) and lacking favor/quality. Even some other thai joints in the city are better.
