Shanghai Terrace - Chicago

New Year's Eve is not the same without dinner at Shanghai Terrace and they did not disappoint. While the restaurant was fully booked, we were waitlisted and thanks to Madison for fitting us in! There was a special chef's tasting menu for the holiday but it was a bit much, however the team allowed us to order from it a la carte a special dim sum trio (lobster sew mai, etc. and a steamed sea bass were wonderful, hopefully they will find a way to the regular menu. Had a very enjoyable evening. Classy environment with a lovely but private feel. Staff was more than attentive and is more than happy to walk you through the menu. Everyone is very personable and professional, food and dessert are impressive!

Amazing establishment with a festive yet formal atmosphere. Some of the food was lacking in depth of flavor but was wonderful regardless.

One of Chicago's finest establishments in the downtown area, renowned for exceptional cuisine, top-notch service, and a stellar drink selection. The icing on the cake? Spotted Jerry Seinfeld during my visit!
