Parlor Pizza River North - Chicago

The vibe and ambience of this place was great. We ordered their Kale and Artichoke Dip which was very tasty while the pizzas that we had ordered not so much. We ordered their Honey Boo Boo and Tedy Bruschetta pizzas, which were both way sweeter than wehad expected. I still would like to give this place another shot and try their other pizzas.

We ordered the fried calamari at the urging of the server as an appetizer. The portion was generous, the presentation great, but overall the taste was bland and uninspiring. The pizza is Neapolitan-style, and the toppings piled on. We used four napkins toabsorb the copious amounts of grease that were pooled on one of the pizzas. The quality for the price isn?t great compared tothe almost endless other pizza options in Chicagoland. In the end, an order of calamari and two pizzas, no drinks, left us $90less than when we walked in. All in all, overpriced and underwhelming.

Didn't eat but the food looked great. The drinks were decent. Expensive. Good vibe.

Pizza was a solid 4/5, service was slow for an uncrowded restaurant but overall a solid experience. Good fries too!

Excellent pizza. Loved the nacho app too! Great place.
