Liva At Chicago Winery

I had a birthday dinner at LIVA and the service was exceptional! Our server Carlos proposed that our group try the Chef’s Feast which is a four course meal for $63 per person. Our feast included steak, lobster, charcuterie, gnocchi, salad, smoked fish dip and desert. It was a quiet evening at the restaurant so the chef took the time to come greet our table. Such a wonderful experience!

Carlos was amazing! Carlos walked our party through the chefs choice menu. For large parties, if you’re deciding, just do it! No regrets. Amazing food and great value overall. 4 courses. All fantastic. We will be back!

Pleasantly surprised at this restaurant focused on good wine and great food that is shared. Together makes for a great social experience.

Service was extremely slow. We only ordered one round of drinks which is very unusual for our group because the server visited our table so infrequently. After she took our order we didn’t see her again until after we finished the meal. It also took a really long time to get our cards back with the checks so we could finish paying and leave for our next reservation. We enjoyed the food but would only come back in the future if the service improves.

All of the flavors were amazing. Really enjoyed this surprise.
