Lem's Bbq House - Chicago

Best place in Chicago to get ribs. I moved out of Chicago 5 years ago but every time I come to visit Lem’s is my first stop. Always good, always hot, and the ribs are always fall off the bone tender.Food: 5/5

An old family favorite of mine for over 50 years. I grew up on the hot link. I still buy the sauce in bulk. There's something special about fried shrimp in their sauce. The rib tips are very meaty and slide off the bone.Food: 5/5

I have been coming to place for years. One of the best bbq places. What I don’t understand is when you paying for extra sauce and you open your bag and pulls this cup that’s not even full. This is ridiculous on top of that I ordered a large tip and for them not to even have enough sauce on it that’s a problem. It seems like over the years they have gotten more expensive and not being reasonable on pour of their sauces. I’m very disappointed. You all need to do better especially with the customer service. You all have a huge customer base make your customers happy.

Super popular spot so it’s gonna be a wait; wear comfortable shoes. I don’t know what the carry out process is like in the wintertime, but there’s only space for 5 at a time inside so you’re gonna be waiting outside. The staff is efficient and hardworking. If you’ve ever manned a grill you know what time it is. This is a large rib tip and it’s worth the wait.
