Jamaica Jerk Villa Grill - Chicago

CJ was an amazing server. If you're in the mood for a lively and vibrant atmosphere, this is the perfect spot. However, I wouldn't suggest it for a quiet meal. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, especially given the generous portions of meat. Just a heads up: the hours listed on Google and on the door may not align, so it’s a good idea to call ahead. Drinks are a bit on the expensive side. Overall, I had a fantastic experience, and a big shoutout to CJ for being so sweet and fun!

We waited an hour for chicken tacos but ended up with fish tacos instead. They were bland as well, but I didn't want to wait any longer, so I just tried to make the best of it. The sides would have been delicious if they had been served warm. Additionally, I was charged a $3.20 service fee because I was part of a group of four. I can understand a service charge for larger parties, but for just four people, it seems excessive.

The food and drinks were quite unremarkable. The portion sizes were very small; we finished the steak and shrimp tacos in just three bites. However, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive and came to check on us several times. Even after I expressed that I wasn’t satisfied with my drink, she offered to remake it for me at least four times, even after I had finished.

The wait was entirely too long, we waited 2+ hours! It was not busy at all. They ran out of plates, our food finally came out in plastic togo containers that they microwaved. I never write a bad review but this was the worst experience I have ever add at arestaurant. I would not recommend this place.

Good location and food was good. I ordered Curry Chicken, red bans and rice with yams. The staff was slow refilling drinks, the waitress came over once only because I called her over. There were Nats little bugs flying around. They had a hard time gettingout the carry out orders. If I would go back to this location it would be for carry out only
