Bidrage med feedbackI just wanted to post this because the manager Kevin saved my entire week. I had accidentally left my bag here and when I came back he was very good at verifying my identity/making sure it got back to me, saved my boyfriend's bag, and calmed me down from an absolute panic.The place is also absolutely sick. Great lighting/decor and drinks.
We came for lunch today and upon entering the person at the door and the hostess were incredibly nice and welcoming. However, when we were sat at our table we were waiting 10 minutes to be greeted, but soon overheard a staff member shout to another staff member if we knew it was bar service only. The other staff member said that we knew, but we were in fact never told and had no idea we needed to go to the bar to order. We had no problem with it being bar service only, just wish we were informed instead of sitting there looking like idiots. We also thought we would be served by wait staff as we did, in fact, make a reservation- which usually constitutes getting a server. We looked past it and soon it was just one thing after the next. The bartender made a mistake with the order but we were treated EXTREMELY poorly because of this mistake on her part. After being rude to a member of our party she never apologized or acknowledged her behavior. I think staff was a little bit upset because we had separate bills and couldn't add automatic gratuity, but we literally had to walk up to the bar and order like we were at a fast food restaurant so obviously we would order separately. One of the staff members running food to tables (he was blonde, wearing a jersey and had clear glasses) was so incredibly rude and had the WORST attitude. Our table was in eyesight of the kitchen and the majority of our time spent there he was staring at us and giving dirty looks (like literally borderline creepy staring). He also continually copped an attitude with us and slammed plates down on the table. In other things- hair in one of our meals, one meal came out 40 minutes after the rest etc. We have never complained at restaurants because we ALL work in the industry but this was just so insane. Also keep in mind we were NOTHING but kind and didn't even say a word to anyone about the mistreatment and tipped the bartender 25% and higher on all the tabs. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cool but the staff had the worst vibes.
We stopped by here after a cubs game and did not have any reservation so had a wait time for almost 30 mins. Our server was friendly, checked on us regularly and service was quick. Food was good, we had the mozzarella sticks and veg pizza, quantity is sufficient for 2 people. We were expecting the mozzarella sticks to be cheesy which you typically get in other places but it was like melted cheese on top of bread. They have good vegetarian options. Good vibes, I would highly recommend this place.
We were visiting from out of town and were looking for a good neighborhood bite to eat before catching the train back to the airport. I called ahead and the host said they could seat us right away. We arrived and everyone was so friendly! The atmosphere and decor were so much fun! Our server provided great recommendations (the whipped feta was AMAZING! and was able to get us fat and happy with time to spare to catch the train. I checked out their merch while dining in and decided I would order some shirts later. Fast-forward a few months and I finally place an order for several Happy Camper t-shirts. The order was fulfilled quickly, but was missing a few items. I reached out to the Happy Camper team via email and Sarah, with the social media team, was able to provide a speedy resolution. Overall, my experience with Happy Camper has been nothing short of amazing! I always recommend the Wrigleyville location to my friends and am looking forward to trying their Denver location next month! 5 stars all around!
I was really looking forward to a good beer, pizza, and some cocktails that would interest my wife before a Cubs game. The food was great, but the service was so bad I could not enjoy the meal. We asked 4 times for water, 3 times for extra sour cream on these amazing nachos, and 5 times for more soda for our kids. The staff was overworked, and not ready to handle the rush that occurred between opening at 11 a.m. and the 1:20 baseball game start. I will be looking for a new place before an event a Wrigley.
