Bidrage med feedbackFood was fantastic! Our server sadly didn't pay attention to the orders, so mistakes were made. The service was a bit slow as well. I would still return as the food was very good.
I would say it was definitely worth it, the sides the restaurant offer are delicious. Burger was great! Can’t wait to back and try the other ones. I didn’t get to try the onion rings because they ran out, it’s a pretty busy spot so I would plan accordingly.
Is the food overhyped and overpriced? Yes, definitely. Despite this, the burger was actually much better than I expected and I think this place is worth visiting at least once. I ordered the Hell’s Kitchen burger, which ended up being fairly spicy. The grilled jalapeño, the bun, and the wood smoked burger patty really stand out; this is probably the best “spicy” hamburger I’ve eaten. I also really liked that they had Moody Tongue on tap — an excellent Southside brewery. The other menu items we ordered ranged from average to disappointing. The fries were nothing special and came with a curry and a chipotle ketchup (both tasted exactly the same to me, maybe they gave me two of the same one? . The oreo crème brûlée milkshake tasted like a standard diner milkshake and was not worth the $9 price tag. Some of the cocktails seemed interesting, but $16 is steep for a hamburger restaurant. The service was speedy and the ambiance was pretty nice in the restaurant. The presentation of the food was a little disappointing, however. I had seen photos from when the restaurant first opened as well as how the food is served at this Las Vegas location. This definitely felt like they were trying to cut down costs. All in all, they do make a great burger and it’s fun to go to a celebrity chef restaurant. I would keep your order simple and not go crazy on the sides — or else you might be disappointed.
Kevin is the best! He was attentive and knowledgeable with a great sense of humor as the cherry on top. Hope that our next visit we have the privilege to sit at one of his tables again
Gordon Ramsay Burger was very solid. The burgers themselves were cooked and seasoned very nicely. The Farmhouse burger was very, very solid. The hell’s kitchen burger had good ingredients but I think the half avocado made things a but messy to handle. However, the kitchen crew did their jobs well. The onion rings needed a little more seasoning in the batter though. The chipotle ketchup is awesome too! Food wasn’t overpriced (for downtown chicago) at all either. However special shoutout to our server KEVIN was so nice, polite, attentive but not overbearing, friendly and welcoming. Props to our guy!
