Fry The Coop - Chicago

We visited on Saturday lunchtime, it was empty. I ordered tender plate, I ordered side of fries and mac n cheese but coleslaw served instead fries. I was bothered to ask so, I just ate.. tenders were really crunchy and well seasoned. I think I should order kid meal, 2 tenders should be enough. My husband ordered butter fried chicken burger. The chicken was a bit dry but sauce was really good! Tap beers were very reasonable price but some of them he wanted to try were sold out: I want to visit anytime soon to try chicken and waffles.

I was surprised how hard the tenders were fried! Nothing tender about them. The coleslaw was as dry as the nickel sized slices of pickles. The mac and cheese was really good. No utensils for either dinner. I called the restaurant and recieved a lame excuse about city ordinance about utensils. Yet they gave me items that required them. Didn't offer any or no proper signage to explain that. McDonald's gave me a spoon with my sundae just 4 blocks away.

1st time to experience Fly the Coop! We are from the south and we take fried chicken seriously. The Spicy Chicken with spicy honey sauce was usual and perfect! The chicken was fresh and giant spiced to melt in your mouth with a bang!

I love the fried chicken sandwich. I am a baby and order it Country spice level which has a perfect blend of spices where it's flavorful without having my mouth on fire!
