Bidrage med feedbackIt’s a nice place to go to celebrate a birthday or special event. The atmosphere is nice and classy, and the restrooms were very clean. However, the issue was with the food. My party of four all agreed that the portions were extremely small and well undersalted. However, the oysters and Calamari were delicious. Wouldn’t be my first choice if I was offered to come back.
Amazing food! Had the Salmon and it was yummy in my tummy. They had a couple vegan dinner options for my friend. The key lime pie was okay but I'm from the south so my standards are very high. Nice area of town. We got there a bit before the dinner crowd so it was basically empty.
Our server recommended the tuna toastitas to start, scallop short rib hash, and surf turf as mains. We added a side of mashed potatoes to the hash. Delicious. And surprisingly fast. Kitchen was a bit noisy, overpowering the love music. Ambiance felt like hustle and bustle of the holidays. I highly recommend the pecan tart with sorbet for dessert. Large portion; perfect for sharing. We declined coat check but surprisingly, no draft throughout restaurant. Valet was efficient and filled with the holiday spirit.
One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. Seared tuna and Chilean Seabass are a must!
This was our first time here and my wife and I ordered a red blend wine, some oysters, shrimp bisque, scallop sliders, lobster rolls and some fries for my boys. Overall the food is very good! I really enjoyed the shrimp bisque and the lobster rolls. My wife really enjoyed the scallop sliders. Our actually waitress was rude, when she asked what type of sides would we like, I asked what are our options and she just pointed to certain part of the menu. The folks who brought the food were actually quite nice and pleasant, I wish they were actually our waiter instead. When it was time to pay, she hung over me while I was paying on their device, not sure if she was trying to pressure me into giving a good tip or not. Either way I gave 20% hoping it goes to the entire service staff. I should've asked though.
