I can only speak to having been here for a party in the undergroumd, but it was nice and the bartender was friendly.
John and staff are great people that really go the extra mile to take care of their patrons. Their warm attentiveness to customers also brings and cultivates a fun loving, easy going crowd/atmosphere. You should check it out if you haven't!
A great, small town bar. The staff is friendly, as are the parishioners. The beer is served quickly, and for a fair price. The music is straight out of the '80s, unironically, and without hipster nostalgia. If I lived here, I 'd be a regular.
