The Gate Inn - Chesterfield

Always nice to fall in here, with a real fire. the bar is well stocked and eating is good. beautiful view of the landscape from its elevated position. good place to eat, drink and relax on the terrace with good weather.

Excellent food and beer selection in a cozy country pub :

We were in this pub for a drink a few times, but decided to eat there. the pub itself is very clean and welcoming and the staff very friendly and welcoming. the food is served in the pub and also in the dining rooms, the back with spectacular views of the landscape. there were every quantity of choice on the menu as well as on the special menu and numerous real ales in the offer. three of our party chose the cakes, chips and veg and the third chosen huh. the whole food was cooked and well presented. the food is served daily from midday to 9 o'clock, also on a Sunday. about everything it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be back.

Just had another excellent Sunday Roast. Tender, tasty roast beef with 6 vegetables and a big yorkie. Very tasty. A real Sunday dinner. Cooked with care. Fab desserts too. Wonderful
