The Bateman's Mill - Chesterfield

One of the best meals and service I ever had. I have been several times and the real ales, among them begien, are excellent for a beerkenner. eating is excellent with the menu change regularly. You can experience top knotch cuisine and be honest it was so delicious that I probably have eaten too much! the duck on a bed of haggis was to die and Sunday dinner is impeccable. compliments to the chef and save me a place! I will return!

Stopped here for 3 nights with family who travelled down from Scotland The rooms were perfect as was the food Staff were very friendly nothing was too much trouble we were made to feel very welcome Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone looking to stop in the area or even just looking for a nice place to eat

Spent 2nights only but was made to feel welcome by all the friendly staff. Excellent food both main meals and breakfast would recommend to anyone will be back next time I come back to clay cross

I was taken to Batemans last night for my birthday surprise What amazing food we had ... the staff were very friendly ...tbe prices were very good...there was a live band on too which were brilliant Can highly recommend this place x
