River's Bend Grill - Chester

Our server was very friendly and attentive. For that, I am extremely appreciative. However, the food.....awful! I ordered the 10oz Ribeye that said market price on it. Ok, I get that. It was about 1 cm thick (or I should say- thin) and tasted like cardboard. The roasted potatoes were at least a day old (or more). Nasty! The Caesar salad was very good though, so I had higher hopes. This was NOT deserving of a sticker price of $28.99!! Absurd I do not recommend this place, at all if you are a foodie and are looking for a good meal. Skip it!

This was our first visit and it was great. The staff was amazing and the food was good and not overpriced. I had the grilled scallops and thought they were delicious.

Not impressed got the crab cake platter crab cakes were 50 percent filler ate one of the two prices are high for what you get!

Food was top notch, however a bit on the pricey side for the type of restaurant in my opinion. The ribeye was great but priced at market value so you’re not sure until you get the bill. Unfortunately you’d be able to get a bone in 20 oz ribeye at Texas road house for what this 10 oz costed at this place. Kid-friendliness: Very friendly wait staff and quiet establishment.

We had high hopes for River’s Bend Grill, but fell extremely short of basic expectations. The food was mediocre at best. Would not recommend.
