Great food, on the expensive side but quality is evident! The best seafood chowder with plenty of local seafood including, lobster, scallops, shrimp and haddock! Cheers!

The Chester Golf Club I don't golf here, of course, but I have eaten here more than a few times. It's close to my dad's place in Chester, and offers a spectacular view for outdoor dining in the summertime. I prefer to stick to the apps menu, having not had much luck with mains in the past. The lobster dip is delicious, and the spicy crab cakes (quite filling with a salad) are to die for. Other favorites are scallops, sweet potato fries and calamari. If you are getting a main, I highly recommend the seafood crepes. The fresh seafood and creamy sauce go together perfectly, and it's definitely the best main course I've had there. Again, I should stress how beautiful the view is. One of the best places to go in Chester to enjoy fresh seafood and some cocktails.

As far as golfing goes, this place has it all. The course is immaculate, challenging, and offers amazing views of the Chester area coastline. The 18 hole golf course is on the high end of golf. Approx. $70 for green fees. I love a good walk, and this course offers one of the best. 4-5 hours Although the cart rental is average priced, and worth it if it is hot out. One of the most scenic shorelines in Nova Scotia, always sail boats, and other marine action to see. The club house offers a great outdoor patio with exceptional views of the area. The food has never let me down and the service is always fantastic. I typically get the fish and chips and love it. Whether you are in for a round of golf, or just want a great meal with fabulous views this is your place.

Our hosts at a B&B recommended Chester Golf Club because of the view from outside. Not only was the view amazing, but the food. The Seafood Crepes were excellent. The seafood chowder and lobster sandwich were also top notch. We almost drove back the next day for lunch again!
