Meadow Lea Farm Cafe

Three of us went here for a long chat over a cuppa and really scrumptious carrot cake. Sorry we may have stayed a bit past closing time but thanks for not throwing us out.

I have been very disappointed on my last two visits to this restaurant. The quality of ingredients was poor, especially the tough sausage skin. This time, I ordered the vegetarian breakfast and the mushrooms were served wrinkled and dry. The staff was lovely and the environment was spotlessly clean, but I will not be ordering hot food again. I will stick to ordering cake instead.

Very nice cafe, but very overcrowded on a Sunday the staff seemed to be having difficulty coping.

Excellent service food as always. One star less this time as car park is a ice skating ring your a business and a very good one but not gritting your car park is dangerous. I did not find it to bad but I have good balance. My wife went flying on the floor lucky did not hurt her self. I can never fault this place it amazing and one of our go to places. So this is not a Bad review this is a review is simply about taking care of the public parking area. Keep up the good work but grit the car park. A lot of elderly people come for food here they would not have a chance 7/10 this time

Great breakfast, good coffee, delicious selection of cakes and service with a smile. I felt like I was back to home in New Zealand beautiful shed buildings!
