Bidrage med feedbackThis is a terrible establishment with dirty cups and teaspoons, and awful coffee. Everything in the restaurant is covered with a sticky layer of dirt, including the tables, cups, and spoons. I will never return to this place and I strongly recommend that others avoid it as well.
This cafe is the best in town! They offer delicious homemade dishes that cater to all tastes. The staff is incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
Visited the 'cafe ' today with a friend for a quick stop let me assure you, a quick stop it was. We both ordered a pot of tea (paid for 2 pots). One pot was supplied along with two filthy mugs (one covered in lipstick marks, the other tea stains), stained teapot and I dare to think what was at the bottom of the milk pot. After sitting and observing the dirty teaspoon and sugar packet supplied, we instantly decided that we wouldn 't be consuming what we had paid for. With having two newborns we had asked politely whether there were toilet facilities for baby change; to which the lady behind the counter shouted no without even turning around to speak to us directly. We left our pot of tea, made for the exit to see the lady playing candy crush and didnt even bother to look up to say goodbye. Will NOT be visiting again what a shame.
Went there with mum for lunch and saw there was fresh home made soup, which we both ordered as it was a freezing day. Unfortunately the soup was literally carrots, potatoes , celery and plain water and that’s exactly how it tasted. Really sorry but couldn’t eat it, it tasted of soggy wet carrots and nothing else. I felt the need to tell the lady politely as it was that bad, she just responded with “well I’ve never had complaints before” and that was it. Although the fact that the cafe was totally empty should have told her that. It cost me £10 for 2 bowls which was ridiculous and I’d already paid up front! Don’t go there.
Having visited a couple of weeks ago after usually over the last couple of years going regularly to anothee cafe nearby (wont name it, but just up from Asda) and had a excellent breakfast, we visited again today in the hope our first visit wasn't just luck...and we were not dissapointed. Bith had breakfast which was freshly cooked with tasty sausages and good bacon, all served hot including the beans which seems to be a rarity these days. Fresh tomatoes on my breakfast and extra toast for my partner was not any trouble with no extra charge. I would much rather wait 15 mins for a hot fresh meal than eat poor quality, re heated offerings that others do. Pleasnt staff and good coffee.... This will now be our regular breakfast stop, just a ahame we didnt try sooner. Excellent and cant reccomended enough
