Bidrage med feedbackThis morning was my first visit to this restaurant, on a lovely evening. They serve a fantastic breakfast with delicious coffee that stayed warm (which is important to me). I ordered avocado, eggs, and toast, while my daughter had the full breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant open when we thought it might not be. The only negative was that we were charged £25.90, which was slightly more than the prices listed on the menu. It was still a good value for a café in the city center.
Beautiful little caffe in the center of the city. jackenkartoffeln were the best we ever tasted! reasonable priced, friendly staff and Roman floor heating in the cellar, what is not to like!
While this restaurant may not be the most eye-catching on Bridge Street, the food and service are both excellent. What sets this place apart is the unique feature of being able to step down to see the Roman remains underneath the café, specifically the floor heating of the Roman baths. It is definitely worth a visit for this special experience.

We actually had our breakfast booked in another cafe further down the same street, but they didn't open at 10am and looked like no signs of life at all
