Vernon's Fish - Cheshire East

The fish and chips are excellent, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly. My only issue is that they do not clean up after messy customers until the end of the day, except for a quick wipe of the tables. Overall, I give it a 4 out of 5.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are fantastic, but they are a bit pricey. The peas were also really good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place looked clean to us and we will definitely be returning.

I have visited this restaurant many times now, both dining in and having it delivered to my house. It has never let me or my family down. The fries are cooked perfectly, indicating that the oil in the fryers is changed regularly as there are no burnt bits on the fries like in other chip shops in Crewe. Keep up the good work!

This is difficult to write as freinds took us there today and they were paying .on entering the dinning area it felt realy cold people sitting eating with coats on no welcone from staff after going to 3 tables we mansged to find a nearly clean one. Waitress came to us no hello just stood while we orderd dont think she wanted to be there. After she went i looked roubd fikthy char next to me carpet never been cleaned for years old food next to us di didnt say anything as didnt want embarras freinds.when waitress came back wiyh drinks my freind said to her its a bit messy on the floor to which she shruged and stood on the waste food.the food arrived my fish was like a waffer so thin taste was ok when yu found the fish but my wifes pudding wast cooked the suet was wet and stcky she becond the waitress told her quietly it wasnt right her reply was it is a pudding thats what they are like and left shaking her head .peas seemed cold out of tin .my wife left her meal my freind went to pay she said to waitress that the puddung was keft on plate and could sge have it knocked off the bill at this point sue owner came over said it was cooked thats how they are my freind said are you knocking it off the bill reply was No. In all bad visit will never return .customer service none existant. Cleaner friendlier places ti go ..i know they got 5 star hygiene rating but dosent show in dinning area .

Absolutely fantastic food I had the fish dinner battered cod, chips peas tea and bread and butter cost about £9 and my wife had a jacket potato this was a large spud with cheese and she struggled to eat it all, I ate all mine but was full after, great portions and lovely friendly helpful staff, we live in crewe so when in town at the weekend we call in for our lunch marks out of ten 11/10 highly recommended
