Excellent service, lovely food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Overall an enjoyable experience. Privately owned free house not an anomynous chain.

We went for a Sunday lunch. Booking was easy on arrival we were met by friendly staff. The menu was very good. So good we had three courses all delicious. The atmosphere was very good and the surrounding very pleasant. Overall an excellent experience.

All the food, Ham hock and rabbit pie, John Dory with a prawn sauce , and whitebait were excellent. The service and greeting were super.

Lovely traditional country pub, perfect for the end of our walk, friendly and lots of choice, we had pies and they were exceptional, absolutely full of beautifully cooked meat

Lovely country pub set within the rolling hills of the Peak District. Traditional decor. Delicious food. Luda is a hoot.
