Bidrage med feedbackWe went after previously been a couple years ago and having a good experience. We was greeted by a woman at the bar and told to sit where we wanted. Seating area is ok. Our order was taken and drinks arrived all ok. Apart from service without a smile. Food came in to parts 5 mins apart our girls then ours. Burger and chips both girls had, both dripping in grease. My daughter had extra napkins to help stop the grease going everywhere. Service wasn't much as we had to take them from an other table. Our food came Sunday lunch. Aunt Bessie's yorkshire pud! Erm no, mash cabbage green beans ok carrots mushed that the flavour had gone. Roasties had an odd taste that odd I couldn't eat. Pig in blank I gave my hubby. Gravy could of been more or a jug! Oh which I noticed a couple sat across from us got. They had a table layed out and everything waiting. Even their dog enjoyed sitting on the padded benched seating and licking the gravy and juice from of its owners plates. Grossly put off we decided to end our meal and go esle where. £80 for 4 drinks 4 meals. Not good service felt we was asking for to much and didn't like having to talk with a raised voice because the bar woman couldn't come over to our table. This was for fathers day we planned to spend the afternoon there. Very disappointing.
We visited The St Dunston Inn before the second lockdown for a family meal. The pub is really well presented with lovely fires and food seating area overlooking the beautiful Cheshire countryside. We sat in the newer extension area that has two gorgeous bi-fold doors letting in lots of light. The food menu catered for all needs as we had vegan and vegetarian members in our party, nothing was a problem and there was plenty of choice. The service was brilliant and the staff where more then willing to help with any queries. The best part of the meal was the sticky toffee pudding it was absolutely gorgeous and tasted amazing. It was that good we had to have a takeaway of pudding only the next day
Delicious food (the Sunday roast and the curry are my favourite) in a cosy country pub with roaring fires. We love coming here, the staff are friendly, children and dogs are also welcome, highly recommend !
Fabulous Village Pub. The Food and Beer were top notch with probably the best beer garden with fantastic views, and what's more dog friendly to boot.
Pass here many times, but always difficult to park. However, on this day parking was available so decided to give them some welcomed trade. Walk in the pub to see a small group having a drink, waited a few minutes for the owner(i assume he was, appoliges if im wrong) to appear on his mobile phone, walked straight past us without any kind of acklnowledegment. Returned a few minutes later still on the phone, again no kind of acklnowledegment, not even a hand gesture. At this point we left, never to return again.
