Papa John's Pizza - Cheshire East

Ordered a pizza before 7pm on a Friday night, 2 hours and 6 unanswered phone calls later we gave up and assumed we weren’t going to get our food. The pizza never arrived but have still been charged. Don’t bother ordering from here.

We ordered last night, at 10pm, at 10:56 we received an email advising there was a problem with the order and to contact the store. Of course nobody answered our calls at that time as the store was due to close. So now we have been charged and received no food! Absolutely disgusting.

Ordered a XXL pizza on the Pappa John 's website for delivery. All OK with this and attractive 'deals '. I also ordered a bottle of Diet Pepsi. Things went downhill from there... ...Pappa John 's website has a facility to track your order which I thought was useful. Unfortunately it is not accurate, as it stated my pizza had been delivered and advised me to 'Enjoy '... ....only the pizza didn 't arrive for another 20 minutes. The driver was pleasant enough when he got the order out of the boot of his car. I got handled full fat Pepsi and when I said I ordered Diet, he said they were out of stock, so basically 'tough ' The pizza could only be politely described as absolutely atrocious. It was cold, the crusts was 1.5 inches wide and the toppings (which I paid extra for!!! were very, very sparse. I would say they were trying to use the same amount of toppings for a small or medium pizza for an XXL to save costs. It was made even more appetising that the chilled Pepsi had been put on top so what little cheese there was, was then stuck to the lid of the box! Probably why it was cold too! Taste was not great and certainly not the usual Pappa John standard. Don 't waste your money or think you are getting a good deal because you aren 't! Absolute rubbish! If I could give it a zero rating for everything, I would!

But disappointed tonight…ordered a pizza costing £19…the pizza arrived within an acceptable time span…however the pizza was tepid…not hot at all…some of the topping was source too…a lot of money, bit disappointing really!

Ordered on their website from the Macclesfield store and followed the 'tracker ', when it showed that our order had been delivered and we hadn 't received it after 10 minutes, I called the restaurant to be told that my order had gone with the driver to Stockport the restaurant and our home is in Macclesfield and there are two Pappa John stores in, or nearer to Stockport?? I was told our order will be with us in half an hour. I called them back 50 minutes later to be told that our order would be 'some time more '. After waiting an hour and a half I felt this was unacceptable, the person I spoke to agreed. I cancelled the order and asked for a refund to be told this would take three days they take your money in an instant but take three days to give it back to your these people are con men and thieves. I ordered from another local (non chain) restaurant, they had my order with me within 30 mins!!
